A time saving, self watering adaptation to a standard plant pot comprising a funnel shaped liner separating the main pot into a water reservoir and a separate area for adding your compost and planting up. The reservoir incorporates a wick system, allowing watering by capillary action from below your plants (patent applied for), reducing leaching of plant nutrients through the soil when compared to watering from above. There is also a reduced compost requirement/cost, and drastically reduced watering frequency requirement (especially useful in the hot, fast growing summer months). Any natural Rainfall in excess to the capacity of the compost within the liner will filter through to the reservoir where it is stored for later recycling and use by your growing plants (upto the level of the modified overflow and drainage point).
